Having lurked for awhile, I think there is scope to have a thread dedicated to exchanging skill moves and tips, and to trade war stories.

Any input across the spectrum would be welcome. MILFs, XMM, FLs , the works. I find that real life experiences and exchanges work best in forums like this, and hopefully we can all come away with something.

The Workplace - hidden depths

The saying goes - don't s**t where you eat. But in every workplace worth its salt, we all know stuff goes on. In fact, the higher performing professions have a disproportionately higher percentage of stuff that goes one. Boss - subordinate, co-workers, interns, the list goes on. #metoo be damned. Stuff between co workers has been going on since the cavemen days, and will continue until the end of time.

So what is it about workplace flings? Is it the forbidden fruit factor? Stress driving people to go "above and beyond"? Ego? Easy promotions?

To give some context - I am a British born Indian. I have been told that I have a passing resemblance to Kal Penn of Harold and Kumar fame, which is to say - approachable and cheeky, but fairer than Kal. Coming from England, I am also eloquent and was a world series debater back in the day.

I came to Singapore over 12 years ago as part of a family move. I am in the banking field (I know the stereotype, but will stress that I am NOT at Chennai business park), and fairly well remunerated.

I also have serious yellow fever (again, not unlike the stereotypes, but please don't judge)..

My story starts with the receptionist. Cliche I know, but also fitting. Why? The receptionist is the first person one sees each day in the office. She is usually also fairly attractive - particularly in financial institutions which are fundamentally dominated by male ego and testosterone.

The selection is usually fairly standard. For the ones that our bank selects, these would usually be a mix of polytechniqie graduates, former air stewardesses, waitresses and others in the service industry. A pleasant disposition is a must, as well as a sunny smile. The bank makes it's receptionists wear a fairly figure hugging uniform, so a decent figure is a bonus when it comes to the hiring process.

Ultimately, a good receptionist must leave a good impression on a potential customer or mark. The idea is to develop in him a subconscious (or conscious) desire to return again, and to close whatever deal we are setting out for him.
