I was Naive (Story)

[Starter]

I got on a cab and I was shaking , I told the uncle to drive to Bishan, but later asked him to change the destination to AMK Ave 10. I needed someone to talk to about this matter, Knowing I could not tell Christina and talking to Ann and Jasmine will not be of any help, I could only turn to Felicia.

The experience was so terrifying that I was really shakened, I walked to the nearby mini mart and Changed some coins to page for Felicia. (Phone at minimarts or coffeeshop offers and number for people to call back unlike Public phones from then Telecom)

Mins later Felicia called me, I asked her where she was, and luckily she was at home. I told her that I would want to meet her, and there are things that I needed to know from her. She told me her mother was still not out yet and she will come down and see me.

I waited anxiously outside the minimart for another 20 mins before Felicia finally appeared before me. We went to the food Centre and took a seat at one of the tables, She asked me about what had happen and What I wanted to know?

Me: Just now I went my Friend Zai Dui (home turf) and saw Cindy.

Felicia: I think you also saw Orh Pah.

Me: Yes, and also Cheryl.

The mentioning of Cheryl Kind of shocked Felicia.

Felicia: Cheryl?

Me: I think now she together with Orh Pah.

Felicia: Huh so wasted, but nevermind then.

Me: Cindy tell my school mate if I don't join them ask them to "look after" me.

Felicia: Huh, Then you want to join them ah.

I could not possibly join Orh Pah's Gang, First or all Christina did not want me to be in a gang, not to mention Orh Pah's gang. Secondly there is no way I would want to be under Ah Keong.

Me: No lor, I won't join them I just want to know what will happen now if I don't join them.

Felicia: Get beaten lor.

Me: Huh?

Felicia: They will keep finding your trouble until they sian (bored).

Me: Got other solution?

Felicia: Don't have leh, also same lor join gang but other gang lor.

In my time reporting to police was never the option, not only you will be named as a ball less wimp and I guess to us getting the police involved was a pointless thing as they could not protect you in school.

I have gotten into some trouble all I can hope for now was that Ah Keong was just delivering lips service to Cindy.

I walked Felicia home tell her that I needed to be alone for a while, I went home and laid on my bed thinking about things to come.

I keep asking myself should I join a gang? my pager beeped and it was Ah Kai.

I called Ah Kai, hoping he would give me some good news.

Me: Eh Kai.

Kai: Wah lao eh, what happen between you and Cindy?

Me: Why Leh?

Kai: Don't know lah, Ah Keong ask me to call you.

Me: Call me for what?

Kai: Ask you when want to join us lor.

Me: Kai, I never say I want to join right.

Kai: you also go hear what Ah Keong and Cindy say already, you want everyday tio bao (get whack) meh.

Me: Kai? are we buddies?

Kai: Of course lah

Me: I got problem you help me or not?

Kai: Of course I help?

Me: Then you help me talk to Ah Keong ask him close on eye on this, you all got beat no beat how Cindy know?

Me: Mai Kah Lim bei Gong Jiao Wei,(Don't give me Crap)If you never force me got down I will get into trouble?

Kai: Pai Seh lah, (Sorry lah) Ok lah I ask Ah Keong, but you really don't want to join ah.

Me: No.

I hung up with Ah Kai hoping he can convince Ah Keong, KNN sibei suay (damn unlucky), If I knew this will happened I won't go down. however it was already too late.

I thought about a lot of things and what bothers me most was whether I was to join a gang, It was if I don't join a gang, I will get hell in school. But if I join a gang, I foresee only Felicia would still stay by me.

I ended up muttering to myself praying to all gods to get Ah Keong to set me free from this dilemma.
