Actually you can request for early check in if your booking on the net. Internationally, hotels will allow you to check in at 3pm and check out by 12pm (can request late check out). I am not sure about hotels in Danok if your able to book it online and make such request but typically if they got a room available you are able to check in straight away.

Yes, signal is good near the Thai border but for Celcom and Maxis. Further away as in KPK area, the signal fluctuates. Do not know about Digi.

Please do not put on " auto ", use manual to select your network. If it is auto, you will get AIS or other Thai network instead of Celcom, Maxis or other Malaysian network.

Imagine that your wife call you and she hear Thai network operator speaking Thai !!!!.

Hello bros, just back from danok after 2nd visit. Here is my experience.

Reached Danok at 3.30pm. Very less people at customs. Waited on around only 10 minutes to cop.

Went straight to Oscar Palace and booked a room for Rm95. This room is more spacier and more clean compare to Oilver Hotel. And some bathtub, sofa and a lcd tv with some porn channels as well as HBO and Malaysian Channels. If you feel boring after fucking maybe you can layan the tv for a while.
Only thing is there is no free breakfast.
